SEK'D Ships Prodif 88 PCI-Interface card for the transmission
of Multi-Channel AES/EBU featuring 24 Bit/ 96kHz resolution
Munich, AES 2002, May 10 -- SEK'D today introduced the new Prodif
88 PCI-Interface card for the transmission of Multi-Channel AES/EBU
with a maximum 24 Bit/ 96kHz resolution. A total of 4 AES/EBU-connections
are available using a breakout cable. Up to three cards can be cascaded
within one PC, giving a total of 24 channels. The Prodif 88 is not
only ideal for DVD-/ Surround- and Multi-Channel productions, but
also for the direct connection to AD/DA converters and mixing consoles
equipped with AES/EBU-interfaces -- thus removing the need for troublesome
format converters. An integrated high-quality analog output allows
comfortable monitoring of digital channels. The card can also be
synchronized from an external word clock source.

Features:
· High Quality, Low Jitter AES/EBU I/O's
· 4x transformer balanced AES/EBU I/O's (total of 8 audio
channels) in max. 24 Bit/96 kHz resolution for the connection of
equipment via AES/EBU.
· Analog monitoring output.
· Inputs and Outputs able to work at different sampling rates.
· Flexible clock settings, internal/external AES and WC.
· Expansion up to 3 cards (24 channels in Sync operation).
· Simple Plug & Play installation.
