AES/EBU is without a doubt the professional standard for digital audio. With today's surround technology, the requirements for the transfer of multi-channel AES/EBU from AD/DA converters is even more relevant. The Prodif 88 offers 4 AES/EBU-I/Os per card!

The Prodif 88 is the first choice for Mastering, DVD, Surround, and Multi-Channel productions. A total of 4 AES/EBU-connections are available using a breakout cable. A direct connection to AD/DA converters and mixing consoles equipped with AES/EBU-interfaces - thus removing the need for troublesome format converters.

An integrated analog output allows comfortable monitoring of digital channels. The card can also be synchronized from an external word clock source.
